½ c honey
½ c water
½ c fresh basil, shredded by hand
2 oz apple cider
½ oz lemon juice
1 bottle Cupcake Prosecco
Using a small saucepan, simmer the honey, water, and fresh basil together until all of the honey is dissolved, which should take around 2 minutes. Then, allow it to cool.
To mix the drink, add 1 ounce of apple cider, ½ ounce of your basil syrup, and ¼ ounce of the lemon juice into 2 flutes. Then, simply top it off with Prosecco and enjoy.
